Tesla PPF & Wraps
in Chandler.
Chandler has one of the highest concentrations of electric vehicles in Arizona — and EVs need a different kind of paint protection than the car they replaced. We run a dedicated EV studio twenty minutes from the Price Road corridor.

Why Chandler is an EV town.
SPEC: PRICE ROAD CORRIDOR
The Price Road tech corridor — Intel's Ocotillo campus, Northrop Grumman, PayPal, Microchip — put a large population of engineers and tech professionals in one part of the Valley, and that demographic adopted electric vehicles early and heavily. Drive through Ocotillo, Fulton Ranch or the newer developments south of the 202 Santan and the density of Model 3s, Model Ys, Rivians and Lucids is unlike anywhere else in the state.
That matters for paint protection because EVs are not simply quiet petrol cars. Two things make them different, and both change how film has to be installed.
Softer factory paint
Tesla in particular uses a water-based paint process that lays down a thinner, softer clear coat than most legacy manufacturers. Owners routinely notice swirl marks from automatic car washes and stone chips appearing far earlier than on their previous vehicle. It is a different tolerance, not a defect — but it shortens the window for protecting the paint before it degrades.
Sensors everywhere
Modern EVs carry cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors across the front bumper, fenders, mirror housings and pillars. Film laid straight over that hardware can attenuate readings and trigger fault warnings. Every EV install we do routes film around the sensor positions using model-specific patterns rather than a generic kit stretched to fit.
What we do here.
If you are driving a Tesla, Rivian or Lucid, the sensible move is a full-front PPF package early in the car's life, plus ceramic coating on the remaining panels.
EV & Tesla Protection
Sensor-safe PPF cut to your exact model, plus ceramic coating and tint. Model 3, Y, S and X, Rivian R1T and R1S, Lucid Air.
Explore EV Studio →Paint Protection Film
Self-healing film for any vehicle. Full-front, track pack or full-body coverage against chips, etching and UV fade.
Explore Shield →Colour Change Wrap
Satin, matte and colour-shift finishes — the most common request from Chandler EV owners working around a limited factory palette.
Explore Transform →A sea of white and grey.
Electric manufacturers ship famously restricted colour palettes. Tesla offers a handful of options and charges heavily for the interesting ones; the result is that Chandler car parks are a sea of white, black and grey.
A vinyl colour change solves that without touching the factory paint. Satin metallics and colour-shift films are the two finishes we are asked for most, and both stay fully reversible if you sell the car or hand back a lease. Because the vinyl sits over the original paint it also acts as a protective layer while it is on — you are not choosing between looking different and staying protected.
A wrap is one of the better reasons to use vinyl on a leased EV. It comes off at the end of the term and returns the car to its original colour, and the paint underneath is typically in better condition than it would have been unprotected.
Film is most effective on paint that has not yet been chipped or swirled — once damage is there, film preserves it rather than removing it. If you have just taken delivery, that is the ideal moment to book.
Where Chandler work comes from.
Chandler splits fairly cleanly between the tech corridor, the established south, and the newer developments along the 202. The vehicle mix changes with it.
Ocotillo & Fulton Ranch
The densest EV concentration we deal with anywhere. Model 3s, Model Ys, Rivians and increasingly Lucids, most of them recent deliveries with paint still worth protecting properly.
Price Road corridor
Intel Ocotillo, Northrop, Microchip and PayPal. Weekday commuter vehicles doing short but constant Loop 101 mileage, and a lot of company-car-adjacent luxury sedans.
Downtown Chandler & Andersen Springs
Older established streets with real shade. More enthusiast cars here than the corridor — weekend vehicles where a colour change is the more common request.
Sun Lakes
South Chandler retirement community. Low-mileage, garage-kept vehicles where the owner intends to keep the car for a decade. Ceramic coating and door-edge film do most of the work.
